Jessy Greene is a violin, cello, and vocal musician from Sheffield, Massachusetts, USA. She has released two albums, Blue Sky (2002), and A Demon & Her Lovers (2006).[1][2] She was a former member of Geraldine Fibbers and The Jayhawks. Jessy has also played with a number of artists including Wilco, Atmosphere, Joseph Arthur, Soul Asylum, and Dessa of Doomtree. She has toured with several artists, most recently with the Foo Fighters for 18 months (2007–2008), then appeared with Pink as part of a 10-piece string section on the America Music awards, and then as the only string player on Pink's 2009 Fun House tour. She played the 2010 Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival with Exene as part of Exene's band the California Mothership.
She is also featured on the song "I Should Have Known" on the new Foo Fighters album Wasting Light, which also features Krist Novoselic of Nirvana on bass and accordion.
She has also recorded with Ben Harper, Joseph Arthur and Dhani Harrison in their new band Fistful of Mercy.
Her song, "Time Bomb", was featured at the end of the Burn Notice season 2 finale called "Lesser Evil".[3][4]
